Jesus Global Youth Day 2019

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
For decades, there has been Catholic World Youth Day, started by Pope John Paul in attempt to keep youth engaged in the Catholic Church. There never been a protestant global youth emphasis until now. JESUS GLOBAL YOUTH DAY, 2018!
The Global church is uniting to rescue the younger generation! Already international networks of churches and leaders are working hard to get their leaders focused on JESUS GLOBAL YOUTH DAY 2018. For example these church networks are committed to partner for this event:
- World Evangelical Alliance, representing 130 countries, and 600 Million Christians, General Secretary Bishop EF Tendero
- National Hispanic Leadership Coalition, Sammy Rodriguez, representing 500,000 congregations in Spanish speaking world (committed get 1 Million Hispanic youth involved)
- Chinese Church leaders, (Including Pastor Dennis Balcombe) working to get 1Million Chinese youth involved
- PCCNA (Pentecostal and Charismatic Churches in North America) endorsed and represent 30,000 congregations
- Billion Soul Network-James Davis with over 500,000 pastors in the global network enlisted as partner organization
The current projections from Pew research demonstrated that Muslim growth is outpacing Christians now because of birthrates, and by 2050 they will dominate the world’s religions with the most adherents.
“The number of Muslims around the world is projected to increase rapidly in the decades ahead, growing from about 1.6 billion in 2010 to nearly 2.8 billion in 2050. Muslims are expected to grow twice as fast as the overall global population. Hence, it is imperative that we as Christians we take proactive measures, to reach and equip the next generation with the Power of the Gospel.
Purpose: To host a catalytic event To rally the Church world-wide to focus on reaching and discipling the youth in their region (since up to 90% who come to Christ worldwide do so before 20 years of age), and launch a global discipleship platform to accelerate reaching and building the new generation of Christians!
The Goal: Gather up to 1 Million youth in Manila live from all over the world, the week of August 8-12, 2018 for: Inspiration, worship, equipping seminars, Training of pastors and youth leaders on the issues affecting youth, mission trip excursions all over the Philippines, and the climatic event on August 10, simulcast to hundreds of mega-churches on different continents, and thousands of local host sights all over the world with up to 10 million attendees.
The Plan: To synchronize that day with the United Nations World Youth day and adopt some of their Global goals, (ie eradicate world hunger, help pregnancy health of mothers) and demonstrate that Christians all over the world are doing good in the name of Christ! On that day we will launch a fully gamified, evangelism/discipleship platform hoping to revolutionize the reaching of people (making every believer a repeater station of the Gospel) and making growing in Christ addicting!
The Exponential Aftermath: The process has already begun by some of the world’s finest minds, to develop a “SUPER-APP” that makes growth in Christ addictive, and sharing ones faith normal! We want every attendee to be a ‘repeater station’ of the Gospel. The idea is to introduce this tool to the world at JESUS GLOBAL YOUTH DAY, and pray that this event will be a catalyst to provoke ongoing growth in Christ, and exponential sharing of His message around the world!
As a result, we are asking God for thousands of churches from every country to receive renewed vision and equipping for reaching the youth in their nation with the Gospel, and every church would grow in size and maturity to insure the good news is spread in their land to the Next Generation!
